SANRAL By The Way publications (monthly)

BCA partnered with SANRAL to produce By The Way, a long-running publication designed to connect the roads agency with communities nationwide. More than just infrastructure updates, the magazine reframed roads as enablers of opportunity—spotlighting scholarships, bursaries, and SMME empowerment initiatives while celebrating women, youth, and local entrepreneurs shaping the future of South Africa’s roads .

Through accessible storytelling, behavioural insights, and creative content, the publication shifted public perception of SANRAL from being purely an engineering body to a people-centred agency. It built trust by highlighting transformation policies, showcasing career pathways, and promoting road safety in relatable ways. This approach positioned SANRAL not just as a builder of roads, but as a driver of behavioural and social change across communities .
